Roy W. Cain, Jr. Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students who demonstrate a servant’s heart and a financial need who are pursuing a Business, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting Degree from the Sorrell College of Business on the Troy University campus in Troy, Alabama. The recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient will be selected by a committee composed of members of the Troy University Scholarship Committee. The scholarship will be need-based as demonstrated by a FAFSA application. Applicants must show proof of community service hours and a recommendation letter from a volunteer or service project organization that the student has worked with in the past two years. Applicant must also have a criminal record free from any felony charges. Recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception held each March.
