The Heersink Family Graduate Certificate Program Endowed Scholarship in Health Services

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students with preference given to students from the Dothan area, however students are not required to be from the Dothan area. Preference shall also be given to students who are pursuing a certificate in Health Services Management, however, scholarships are also available to students who plan to attend UAB and who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, health service management, or health innovation. The recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. The recipient will be selected by the Dean’s office in the Sorrell College of Business and will include a designated representative by the donor. An annual marketing plan will be developed and executed by Troy University and the Sorrell College of Business to promote the program specifically to students within the Wiregrass/Dothan area. Recipient is required to write a letter of appreciation to the scholarship donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception. This is a one-time, nonrenewable scholarship.
