Lamar P. Higgins Endowed Scholarship

The scholarship purpose is to assist students with a preference given to graduating seniors from Valiant Cross Academy or to current Troy University students who are members of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. Recipients must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients not meeting this requirement are subject to lose their scholarship. Scholarship may be either merit-based or needs-based. Recipients will be selected by the Troy University Scholarship Committee. Recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception held each March.
