Heersink Wiregrass Pathway to Optometry Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students on the Troy University campus in Troy, AL who are enrolled in the Pre-Optometry Program. Recipient must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5. First preference will be given to students who have received an associate degree in Pre-Optometry from the Dothan campus of Wallace Community College. Selection will be made by the Troy University Scholarship Committee. Recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception held each March. Two recipients will be chosen each year to receive an award covering half of their tuition costs.
