Mary Jean Griffin Outstand TRIO Student Scholarship Award

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students who show active engagement with the TRIO program activities and services. The recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a 2.8 GPA in major field. Recipients must also show co-curricular/extra-curricular engagement, service and leadership at the University. Nomination materials must be provided by faculty/staff in support of the recipient. The recipient will be selected by a committee composed of the Associate Provost and Dean of programs, University TRIO representatives as well as other members of the JWS Center for Student Success where the TRIO programs are organizationally housed. Recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception held each March.
