Glenda Fay (Hood) Armstrong Legacy Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students enrolled in the College of Education on the Troy campus in Troy, AL. The recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8. The recipient will be selected by the University Scholarship Committee. Recipients are required to write a thank you letter to the donor and must attend the scholarship donor and recipient reception held each March. These recipient selection guidelines are to be applied after all the scholarship guidelines have been satisfied.
1) One or more students can be selected each year.
2) Are returning to college after being gainfully employed in the workplace
3) Those with prior experience in the military service of the United States of America who are not on the G.I. Bill
4) A surviving spouse with no prior work experience
5) Single-parent
6) Resident of Alabama
