Kenneth Duane Johnson Sigma Chi Endowment Scholarship

In 2022, the Kenneth Duane Johnson Sigma Chi Endowment was established in loving memory of Kenneth, a Sigma Chi brother and alumnus of Troy. This scholarship benefits students on the Troy University campus in Troy, Alabama, who are freshmen pledges of Sigma Chi Fraternity who need financial assistance to cover the cost of joining. To be eligible, students must meet all standards and requirements of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Recipients are selected by a scholarship committee composed of Sigma Chi Advisory Council members, the Associate Dean of Student Life for Troy University Student Services, and a member of the Office of Development. Recipients are required to write a letter of appreciation to the donor and must attend the Scholarship Donor and Recipient Reception.
