Hoyle Family Scholarship

James and Catherine Adams established the Hoyle Family Scholarship in late 2025 to assist students who are Veterans, active duty or reserve members, or who have a parent or spouse in any branch of the U.S. Military. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be attending classes on Troy University’s main campus in Troy and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The Troy University Scholarship Committee selects recipients. Recipients are required to write a thank-you letter and encouraged to attend the Scholarship Donor and Recipient Reception.
