Claude and Diana Kay Ward Endowed Scholarship

In 2024, Troy University alumni Laura Ward established the Claude K. and Diana K. Ward Endowed Scholarship to honor her beloved parents. This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in communications on Troy University’s main campus, with preference given to female students from Elmore County, Alabama. If there are no applicants from Elmore County, the scholarship is open to any students majoring in communications, male or female. Recipients must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Recipients must write a letter of appreciation to the donor and are encouraged to attend the Scholarship Donor and Recipient Reception.
